Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Preparation Workshop

  •  September 6, 2016 - September 8, 2016
     8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Are you planning to obtain your ASP/CSP designation in the near future? ASSE’s Greater Boston Chapter is again coordinating a workshop to help you prepare for the ASP exam. A Safety Fundamentals Exam Preparation Workshop will be held at EMC Corporation in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, from September 6, 7 & 8, 2016.

Gain the knowledge and confidence to pass the Safety Fundamentals examination leading to the ASP designation with this review of OSH concepts and test-taking strategies. The workshop has been a success in our Chapter for many years. Many of those who have successfully completed the class achieved their professional designation thereafter. This offering is a great local solution at a reduced rate in comparison to other providers.

This year’s course will again be instructed by the nationally-recognized firm of Langlois, Weigand & Associates. ASSE members can attend for $600, non-members can attend for $650. You can register below. Pre-registration and payment is required by August 16, 2016.

Each student will be provided a fact-filled study guide and a scientific calculator. You can choose to bring your own calculator.

NOTE Only the following calculators are allowed by BCSP

  • Casio models FX-100, 200 or 300 series

This is a three-day review course for those preparing for the Associate Safety Professional Examination (ASP). This course is an excellent review for those desiring to:

  • Determine whether the participant is ready to attempt the examination
  • Identify areas where extra preparation is needed.
  • Become familiar with resources available to prepare for the exam.
  • Learn about certification requirements and scoring procedures.
  • Review content material in an informal environment utilizing a “testing” format including an opportunity for discussion.
  • Minimize “test shock” for those who have not taken an exam of this magnitude and importance for an extended period of time.
